Beste leden en sympathisanten,

De eindmeet van het jaar komt weer in zicht, dus we weten allemaal wat dit betekent: efkes alles negeren en terug een frisse pint pakken op ne goeie cantus. Naar jaarlijkse traditie moet onze opkomende cantor en bak zich natuurlijk “in the field” bewijzen, dus leg ze maar eens goed het vuur aan de schenen. Beschikken ze over voldoende liederenkennis? Belichamen ze wel de zedelijke waarde van Fabiant (tries to keep a straight face)? Hebben ze het wel in zich om een schacht te straffen en zijn ze creatief genoeg in het verzinnen van deze straffen? The last exams and deadlines are approaching, so we all know what this means: just ignore everything and grab a fresh pint at a good cantus. Following the annual tradition, our emerging cantor, pledgemenner and moral master must of course prove themselves “in the field”, so let’s put them to the test. Do they have sufficient song knowledge? Do they embody the moral value of Fabiant (tries to keep a straight face)?
